Who can and how to apply

When applying for a scholarship it is important that all of the application criteria must be met. Please note that the scholarships are only for young people of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.

Secondary Student Criteria

  • Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent and must have Proof of Aboriginality Certificate
  • Enrolled at one of our Partner Schools and provide proof of enrolment
  • Be seeking a scholarship for Year 7 – Year 12
  • Must provide two letters from referees
  • Must provide most recent academic results
  • Must have a good school attendance record

Tertiary Student Criteria

  • Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent and must have Proof of Aboriginality Certificate
  • Must be enrolled full time on campus at an Australian University; we will not accept online studies
  • Must provide two letters from referees
  • Must provide most recent academic results
